ANNA MARIA — A retail building on the island sold this month for $1.1 million.
Joe and Laurie Sabath of Chicago bought the property at 314 Pine Ave. that is home to Vinny & Cheryl’s Italian Kitchen and Three Island Monkeys furniture and gift shop.
Built in 1950, the 5,376-square-foot building sits on a 0.4-acre parcel, according to county records.
The new owners financed with a $525,000 loan from Premier Community Bank that can be tapped for up to $1.05 million, records show.
Seller Sandfish LLC, a company headed by Jennifer Fullarton Powell of Christchurch, Dorset, England, bought the property for $880,000 in 2011.
The buyer was represented by Barbara Wong of Michael Saunders & Co. Angela Varga, an adviser with SVN Commercial Advisory Group, represented the seller.
