VENICE — The mixed-use Murano Plaza here sold Monday for $1.02 million.

The plaza, at 127 E. Tampa Ave., has 11 retail and office units on the first floor and four apartments on the second floor.

Salon of Venice is the anchor tenant. Others include Honor Healthcare Management, Krystyna’s Skin Care, Rain Dogs Pet Grooming and Anchor Realty Associations.

The buyer was Meditrina Properties LLC, a Sarasota company headed by Barbara Mei.

“No doubt, this was an attractive investment for the buyer because of the location and the upside potential in increased cash flow with vacant space left to fill,” said Mike Migone, senior adviser with SVN Commercial Advisory Group, who represented the buyer.

Seller BCP Properties of Providence, Rhode Island, managed by Sean N. Marchionte, paid $255,000 for the 7,995-square-foot property in 2010, according to county records.
